Due to local legal requirements, HP may be required to offer a two-year warranty in Europe. During the warranty period, telephone support is provided free-of-charge for hardware-related failures. Telephone support is provided free-of-charge within 90 days of the date of purchase for non-hardware-related failures.
HP also offers an extended warranty called HP Care Pack for an additional charge. HP Care Pack extends the limited warranty to 3 years and includes a service called Express Exchange. With Express Exchange customers who experience a printer failure can call a support number and have a defective unit exchanged with a replacement unit.
