DESCRIPTION
The computer fails to boot after enabling the INTEL® OPTANE™ MEMORY H10 WITH SOLID STATE STORAGE. The issue occurs if the Configure Legacy Support and Secure Boot feature has been set to Legacy Support Enable and Secure Boot Disable in the BIOS settings.

SCOPE
Information in this document applies to the following:
Configuration:
INTEL® OPTANE™ MEMORY H10 WITH SOLID STATE STORAGE
Computers:
Any computer with INTEL® OPTANE™ MEMORY H10 WITH SOLID STATE STORAGE installed.
RESOLUTION
Resolve the issue as follows:
  1. Start or restart the computer.
  2. Press F10 to enter HP Computer Setup (F10 Setup).
  3. Select Advanced > Secure Boot Configuration.
  4. Change the Configure Legacy Support and Secure Boot setting to one of the following:
    • Legacy Support Disable and Secure Boot Enable
      OR
    • Legacy Support Disable and Secure Boot Disable
      CAUTION: Legacy Support Enable and Secure Boot Disable is NOT supported for INTEL® OPTANE™ MEMORY H10.
  5. Save changes and exit.
  6. The computer should boot normally.
