HP Designjet 2500CP Printer - Product Specifications

When looking at the back of the HP Designjet 2500CP printer, you will see the serial number located directly below the power plug on the right side of the rear panel.

The HP Designjet 2500CP printer with built-in PostScript (R) is a product that generates high performance large-format, E-size color prints using HP Proprietary Thermal Inkjet technology. It has an all-new ink system that provides 600 real dpi and a 350 cc off-axis ink supply for color.

The HP Designjet 2500 CP printer supports HP-GL/2, PJL, PML, HP RTL, and PostScript Level 2 languages. Mac PostScript and Windows PostScript drivers are provided. The HP color kit is also provided. Additional features include:

• Coated paper: A specially coated, wood pulp-based paper for inexpensive, good quality, color graphics image prints.
• Heavy coated paper: This paper has the same special coating as coated paper, but on a heavier base for applications where a more durable media is needed.
• High-gloss photo paper: A white photographic paper with a high-gloss finish for high quality, photographic image prints. Recommended when the highest quality is desired.
• Semi-gloss photo paper: A white photographic paper with a semi-gloss, matte-like finish for high quality prints.
• Imaging film-backlit: A clear polyester film for backlit viewing of images.

HP Designjet CP Ink system (supplied with printer):

• Cartridges are designed for 600 dpi, with 240 nozzle, at six kHz.
• Each color comprising of 350 ml ink cartridge, print head, and print head cleaner.

36 MB standard memory (4 MB in the main board, plus one 32 MB SIMM), plus an additional 4 MB of printing memory, which is reserved for the HP Designjet 2500CP printer and cannot be utilized by the end user.

Two SIMM slots available make the total memory expandable to 68 MB RAM, with the 4 MB of printing memory.
