DESCRIPTION
External monitors do not display content when the display mode is changed from PC screen only mode to Duplicate mode.
This occurs in the following configuration:
  1. The computer is connected to the HP Thunderbolt Dock G2.
  2. The HP E27d G4 monitor is connected to the HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 with a USB-C cable.
  3. External monitor is connected to the HP E27d G4 monitor to the DisplayPort (DP) with a DP cable.

RESOLUTION
To recover from this issue, disconnect, and then reconnect the USB Type-C cable to the dock.
To resolve this issue, download and install the following SoftPaq to update the docking monitor firmware:
