HP Photosmart C7275, C7280, C7283, and C7288 All-in-Ones - 'Ink expiration near' Message Displays on the All-in-One

Issue
The message Ink expiration near appears on the product control panel.
Solution
Replace the ink cartridge or cartridges listed in the message.
 note:
Each ink cartridge has an expiration date to protect the printing system and ensure good ink quality. When the ink cartridge expiration message appears, remove and replace the expired ink cartridge and then close the message.
Printing can continue without replacing the ink cartridge. Follow the instructions that appear on the HP product or on the computer. However, HP recommends replacing the expired ink cartridges. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of expired ink cartridges. Service or repairs required as a result of using expired ink are not covered under warranty.
  1. Make sure the HP All-in-One is turned on.
     note:
    The Attention light blinks when the product is turned on.
  2. Open the access door by lifting from the front center of the HP All-in-One, until the door locks into place.

  3. Squeeze the bottom of the latch below the ink cartridge to replace, and then lift the latch.
    • To replace the black ink cartridge, lift the latch on the far left.
    • To replace one of the five color ink cartridges, such as yellow, light cyan (blue), cyan, light magenta (pink), or magenta, lift the appropriate latch in the center area.

  4. Pull the ink cartridge towards you out of its slot to remove it.

  5. Remove the new ink cartridge from its packaging.
  6. Holding the new ink cartridge by the handle, push the ink cartridge into the empty slot.
    Match the color and pattern of the ink cartridge to the color and pattern on the print carriage.

  7. Close the latch, and make sure it is secure.
  8. Close the access door.

9. Close the error message.
Cause
The ink in the indicated ink cartridge(s) in the message is near expiration.
 note:
Each ink cartridge has an expiration date to protect the printing system and ensure good ink quality. When the ink cartridge expiration message appears, remove and replace the expired ink cartridge, and then close the message. The cartridge expire date will be in line 53 of the self test report.
