HP PCs, Printers - HP Update Software is Retired (Windows)

To download and install the latest version of software for your printer or computer, select one of the following links:

• HP Software and Driver Downloads: Provides any available full feature and basic drivers, firmware updates, and driver updates for printers and computers.
• 123.hp.com (printers only): Guided driver download and installation service for Windows and Mac users that installs the full feature (recommended) driver for most printers released in 2013 and later.

When attempting to install an update from HP, one of the following errors occurs:

• Your system does not meet the operating system requirements. Update has been cancelled. (9997)
• Your system does not meet the operating system requirements. Update has been cancelled. (9998)

As HP Update is no longer in service, make sure to uninstall HP Update with the Uninstall a program feature in Windows.

After successfully installing your printer software, an install screen might show that HP Update is recommended but could not be installed. As HP Update is no longer in service, click Continue to finish the installation without installing HP Update.
