DESCRIPTION
The version of Microsoft Skype for Business 2016 that is downloaded from the Microsoft Store does not function with HP Collaboration Keyboards. Other conferencing solutions such as Microsoft Teams are not supported by the HP Collaboration keyboard software.

This may affect all HP software products shipped with the HP Collaboration keyboards.

RESOLUTION
note:
HP recommends installing Skype for Business 2016 from Microsoft Office media, or use MS Office 365. Other supported conferencing solutions are Microsoft Lync and Cisco Jabber.
To resolve this issue, perform the following procedures:
Step 1. Uninstall the version of Skype that was downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
  1. Type Apps & features in the Search field.
  2. Select Apps & features.
  3. Locate Skype for Business 2016.
  4. Select Uninstall.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions (a restart may be required).
Step 2. Install Microsoft Skype for Business 2016 from Microsoft Office media, or use MS Office 365.
Option 1. Install Skype for Business 2016 from the Microsoft Office media:
  1. Run Setup.exe from the Office media.
  2. Select Skype for Business 2016 from the menu.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
Option 2. Install Skype for Business 2016 from Microsoft Office 365:
  1. Logon to Microsoft Office 365.
  2. Select the link to download and install Skype for Business 2016.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
