Panel Damage Prevention.
The monitor panel can be easily damaged during unboxing and installation. The details in the Resolution provide guidelines on proper handling when removing the monitor from the box.

To prevent damage from occurring, follow the guidelines provided below:
When receiving the display product box, ensure the package is in good condition. If wet, dirty, scratches or any other damage is visible, take a video when opening the box
After the box is opened, follow the hardware setup set up guide to complete installation. The display stand should be attached while the display-head is still in the packaging, then remove it from the box
To handle the monitor, place hands on the top and bottom of the display-head near the center (see red arrows in the following illustration).
When lifting or moving the display, ensure the screen is facing away from you.
Do not press on the display screen area (to avoid any scratches or damages).
Avoid any sudden shock or vibrations when transporting the display.
NEVER handle the monitor like this because it will damage display LCD panel easily.
If any damage or cracks are visible on the screen, do not connect anything to this unit. Call HP service for help.
